Bill Secunda is an award-winning artist that creates massive metal sculptures. Each piece is designed and hand made by Secunda using a variety of materials such as thick steel plate, stainless steel, copper, bronze, and a very special common item - carpenter's nails. Bill has devised a technique to create amazingly realistic animal sculptures made entirely out of thousands of nails welded together.
These pieces are so unique that they can be found in several Ripley's Museums around the world. The Aspen Bear, St. Louis Zoo, and the latest public installation of three bison sculptures at the entrance to Oklahoma Baptist University are just three of the public sites that have welcomed these wonderful sculptures.
